The European Customer Ordered the Spring Hammer

BSH Electrodomésticos España, S.A. is the branch company of BSH group, which is the largest manufacturer of home appliances in Europe. This time they ordered the spring hammers from Pego Group, when they get the spring hammers, they commented: we have received the spring hammers, they are great!

Spring hammer‍ is designed according to IEC60068-2-75 Ehb and IEC62262, it is applied to evaluate the ability of enclosures for electrical equipment against harmful external mechanical impact. The spring hammer is from 0.14J to 2J for IK01 to IK07 correspondingly, each energy has a spring hammer, or user can choose universal spring hammer to achieve IK01 to IK06 testing at one time.

The advantage of the spring hammer is that it can be used in any position, provided there is enough room to apply it correctly, and that the specified impact energy does not exceed 2J. For higher energy levels, a spring hammer would be too difficult to handle, and could even be hazardous for the operator.
