IPX7 Temporary Immersion Tank
1. Introduction
Temporary Immersion Tank is designed according to IEC60529 clause 14.2.7 regarding the second characteristic numerals 7. Waterproof test simulates the condition of raining, which is mainly applied to electronic products, luminaire, electric components, motor and house-holding appliance. The waterproof test can help to judge the products’ performance, and provide the basis for design, improve and inspect. The water-level on enclosure requires 0.15m above top and 1m above bottom, duration of the test is 30min.
