Aluminum Test Vessels for Testing Hotplates IEC60335-2-6

1. What is aluminum test vessel?

The test vessel or test pan is a aluminum saucepan, made of unpolished commercial quality aluminium, and with a flat bottom. The aluminum test vessels are designed according to IEC60335-2-6 figure 101, and IEC60335-2-9 figure 103 for operating the normal operation test of hot elements and hotplates, and EN30-1-1 figure C.2 for testing on electrical cooking plates.

2. The dimensions of the commercial aluminum vessels

Normally, the commercial aluminum test pans have a circular shape with diameters of φ110mm, φ145mm, φ180mm, φ220mm and φ300mm, and non-circular vessels can be customized for testing non-circular cooking zones. The wall and base thickness are specified as below table. The base of the vessel shall not be convex. The concavity of the base of the vessel shall not exceed 0.05mm.

It is worth mentioning that each pan comes with a lid, so that steam does not affect the tests.

3. Why PEGO?

Firstly, PEGO adopts one-piece molding technology to produce the vessel, the base and wall of the vessel are made of one piece of material, without any gaps. The production cost is higher, but it is more duration.

4. How to protect the vessels?

1). The vessel can only contain water for test, no oil or other liquid

2). After each use, please use clean cloth to wipe it clean.

3). Do not dry burn the vessel

4). Do not damage the appliance shape (such as scratching, dropping, etc.).
