Pressure apparatus for Metal Lampholders E14, E27 and E40
1.Introduction
The pressure apparatus is designed according to IEC60238 clause 16.7 / figure 9 and GB17935 clause 15.7 / figure 9, for testing the mechanical strength of external metal parts (out shell and dome) of metal lampholders E14, E27 and E40.
The various parts are tested on the complete lampholder. Each part is subjected twice for 1 min to a pressure. The pressure is applied on two diameters at right angles to each other. During and after the test, the deformation of the specimen shall not exceed the specified values.
