IEC60884-1 Figure 8 Compression Tester
1. Introduction
The compression tester is designed according to IEC60884-1 clause 24.5 figure 8 and GB2099-1-2008 clause 10.1. It is applied for compression test of plug to check whether the mechanical strength of the plug meet the requirement. Specimens are subjected to a compressure tester, the temperature of the pressure plate of the base and of the specimen being 23±2°C and the force applied being 300N, the force is applied for 1min.
